Choynak is the Uzbek word for teapot, and this classic one is made for brewing green tea and pouring it into pialas. In the custom called qaytarish, which means returning, the host fills a piala and tips it back into the pot, usually three times, so the tea brews more fully. The pot is hand-glazed porcelain and ships in a foam-lined box.
