Privacy Policy

§ I

General

This policy explains how SIA SLB LV (40203742984), a Latvian limited-liability company at Ūnijas iela 70 k-1 – 2, Rīga, LV-1084, processes personal data submitted through this website and the inquiry form.

Processing follows Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and the Latvian Personal Data Processing Law.

§ II

Data we collect

  • Full name and the company you represent
  • Email address
  • Phone number, when provided
  • Free-text message content submitted via the inquiry form
  • Technical metadata (IP address, user agent, timestamp) for fraud and abuse prevention

Why we process the data

  • To respond to inquiries and prepare price lists, supplier documents and contract drafts
  • To maintain a record of communications related to a potential or active commercial relationship
  • To comply with Latvian and EU bookkeeping, customs and AML obligations
  • To investigate misuse of the inquiry form (abuse, spam, security incidents)

Legal basis

Processing rests on the legitimate interest of SIA SLB LV in handling commercial inquiries (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR), on the necessity to perform a contract or take pre-contractual steps (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR), and on legal obligations binding on the company (Article 6(1)(c) GDPR).

§ V

Retention

Inquiry records that do not lead to a commercial relationship are retained for up to twenty-four months from the last contact and then deleted from working systems.

Records connected to a contract are retained for the period required by Latvian bookkeeping and tax law (currently ten years from the closing of the financial year).

§ VI

Recipients

Personal data is accessed by named employees of SIA SLB LV under written confidentiality. Where required to perform a contract, data is shared with logistics providers, banks and customs agents under separate data-processing agreements.

§ VII

International transfers

Data may be transferred to suppliers in Uzbekistan and Lithuania for the purposes of fulfilling a specific contract. Such transfers rely on the appropriate safeguards under Articles 46–49 GDPR.

Your rights

  • Request access to the personal data we hold about you
  • Request correction of inaccurate or outdated data
  • Request erasure where the legal basis for processing has ended
  • Restrict processing or object to it for legitimate reasons
  • Withdraw consent at any time, where consent is the legal basis
  • Lodge a complaint with the Latvian Data State Inspectorate (Datu valsts inspekcija)
