Red raisins are made from red grapes and dry to a deep reddish brown, between golden and black raisins in colour. Central Asian cooks add raisins to plov and to fruit compote, and bakers fold them into buns, cakes and muesli. Each 200 g pouch is vacuum-sealed and keeps for 12 months in a cool, dry room.
